| Reference Clients: | If unable to deliver to lab within 24 hours, centrifuge the specimen and separate the serum from the red cells. Store and transport at 2-8° C within 5 days. If longer periods of storage are required, the sample should be frozen at -20° C. | ||
| Causes for Rejection: | Improperly labeled, incorrect container, contaminated, insufficient quantity, incorrect/delay in transport. | ||
